Internship Opportunity with Arts for Health Florida!

Membership & Development Intern

Arts for Health Florida is an organization whose aim is to promote the use of arts for health and well-being statewide. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Membership & Development Intern. This person should have a basic understanding of non-profit membership and development, as well as related database management, marketing, communication, and research skills.

Projects and Responsibilities:
Assist with membership fulfillment, mailings, and other related tasks
Reach out to individuals and organizations statewide to encourage membership
Help draft and send acknowledgement letters and other letters of correspondence as needed
Assist with managing and adding e-mail addresses in MailChimp
Research content for fundraising efforts, including grant, prospect, and membership research
Provide general administrative support as needed

Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Background in Stripe or similar database experience is preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to work independently
Currently pursuing a degree or recent college graduate with interest in the arts and/or arts in health
Prior experience working in a non-profit

Hours & Compensation:
5-10 hours per week
This is an unpaid internship, hours could qualify for school credit.
